The Ask: Create 2 page Ad for the Ikea campaign
The Challenges: We were tasked with developing a unique concept for IKEA, utilizing design and copywriting expertise to highlight the affordability of products like a basic couch.
The Big Idea:
I drew inspiration from the Casper ads that adorned subway stations in 2019. These ads comprised playful visual puzzles that engaged viewers' curiosity. Drawing on this concept, I envisioned creating something similar for IKEA, utilizing my illustration skills and incorporating IKEA's brand colors.
The concept is elegantly simple: on the left-hand page, a concise visual puzzle featuring an eye, a key, and the letter "A," cleverly forming the word IKEA when said together. Complementing this puzzle is a short sentence on the right-hand page, inviting the audience to delve deeper into the artwork by envisioning the key to unlocking their ideal space, tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
