As a Freelance Photo Editor and Illustrator, I was commissioned to create a special tribute piece celebrating the 25th anniversary of Raekwon's iconic album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.... The project was inspired by a client's desire to honor his cousin's influence and success within the hip-hop community while paying homage to one of rap's most recognizable album covers. Working closely with the client, I reimagined the original artwork by transforming the album's characters into elephants while preserving the visual style and atmosphere that made the cover legendary. Through a combination of photo manipulation, illustration, and digital compositing, the final piece balanced nostalgia with playful creativity, creating a unique tribute to a landmark moment in hip-hop culture.
